Tonight I monitored “Longbow 414” calling for radio checks on 258.650. The same unit self ID’ed as Army Copter 35414. Another station identifying as “Spearhead Mike” comes up in the red and both report loud and clear.

My primary HF setup includes the WinRadio G31DDC paired with magnetic loop antennas like the Wellbrook ALA1530. For UHF SATCOM, I use antennas such as the Trivec Avant AV-2011, AV-2055, and AV-2095.
