258.550 PAC: Blue Ridge Tech Control conducting radio checks. She was also calling another station that sounded like PACOMM — United States Pacific Command. The ship was also in the news recently as they helped rescue 5 fishermen stranded in the Philippine Sea.
USS Vandegrift calling D11 (US Coast Guard) on 265.250 MHz.
Vandegrift attempting contact with Alpha Bravo but they were no joy.
260.575 was active with CDT1 calling LPD-23 (USS Anchorage). CDT1 spoke with an accent (Australian?) and unfortunately their radio had a terrible hum making them very difficult to copy.
USS Curts calling JIATF-South on 265.250. The USS Curts is on their final deployment and is scheduled to be decommissioned sometime next year.
